| The Burlington, Iowa, police and fire headquarters.

Status: Remains in use exclusively as the main fire station. According to current Burlington Fire Chief Thomas J. Clements, the building "was built in 1907 and designed for horse drawn fire carts ... we are in the beginning phases of a complete renovation and expansion." As can be seen in the photo below, some unfortunate alterations and additions were made to the building in past years. |
