Dollars & Sense: The Cost Effectiveness of Small Schools

Summarizes research on the educational and social benefits of small schools, and the negative effects large schools can have on students, teachers, and the community. A team of nine researchers with expertise in education, architecture, and quantitative research also challenge the commonly held belief that big schools are cheaper to build and maintain.
