LOUISIANA
The Louisiana Chapter of the Sierra Club is battling sprawl by educating its members and the public about the environmental damage done by the continued construction of low density residential neighborhoods. The club's newsletter, The Delta Sierran documents its annual "Tour de Sprawl" and other efforts to show how sprawl damages communities environmentally and strains them financially.
