Published by Alternative Energy Resources Organization (AERO) and the Montana Smart Growth Coalition, "Big Sky or Big Sprawl? Montana at the Crossroads" contains the proceedings from Montana's first statewide growth summit, held in November 1998.

The summit brought together respected national experts on many aspects of urban growth and planning, as well as Montana-based agricultural, business, governmental, environmental and citizen groups.
