The following questionnaire must be completed by candidates for the planning commission. Candidates are also interviewed by the governing body.

1. What is the purpose and goal of City Planning?
2. Are you aware of Little Rock's land use Plan?
3. What role do these plans serve in guiding the future of our City?
4. Who should have the ultimate decision making authority on rezoning and plan changes in Little Rock?
5. What government and citizen groups should be involved in planning uses?
6. Describe the role of each of these five groups in the planning and development process: Developer; Neighborhood Association; Planning Staff; Planning Commission; Board of Directors [governing body]
7. Why do you want to be a Planning Commissioner?
8. What skills and talents do you bring to the Commission?
